Thame Home Church is committed to the safety, well-being, and dignity of all individuals, particularly children, young people, and vulnerable adults. We strive to provide a safe and nurturing environment where everyone can grow in their faith in Jesus without fear of harm or abuse.

As part of our commitment to safeguarding, we have a clear safeguarding policy in place, which is regularly reviewed and updated. This policy reflects our adherence to the guidance and standards set out by both local authorities and national organisations.

We are dedicated to ensuring that:

• All members of our congregation and visitors, especially children and vulnerable adults, are protected from any form of abuse, neglect, or exploitation.

• All individuals who have contact with children, young people, or vulnerable adults within the church are required to hold an up-to-date Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, ensuring that they are suitable to work with vulnerable groups.

• Those working with children, young people, and vulnerable adults are properly trained and supported to uphold the highest standards of safeguarding.

• Safeguarding concerns are addressed promptly, confidentially, and in line with appropriate legal and professional guidelines.
